I just picked up DS3 (Onyx engine) and the game ran great and looked great and I encountered no bugs whatsoever but I really didn't play it much either because the game itself kinda sucked.
It was there best game when it came to to technical problems and bugs but yes the story was forgettable. This is good for everyone but time will tell.
