NWN2 Against the Giants

Neverwinter Nights 2
I fondly recall first playing this module via the pen and paper game in the late seventies. It was among my favourites, I always did enjoy romping around and fighting giant types. Gygax made some of the best modules by far, and likely stand even to this day.

These look great - thanks for posting! I'll give them a go when I next fire up NWN.

I've not played the extended edition of Neverwinter Nights, but when I do, assuming I can figure out how to use these modules, I'll be giving them a try. Thanks for the information!

Loved the modules in the early 80's. Think I will make a dwarf fighter named Masher and start out in Keep on the Borderlands. Then go thru the Slave Lords, Against the Giants, and finally Vault of the Drow. Who said you can't relive your childhood? ;)

Afraid of the Abyss, are you @Hastar;? No demon queens for you? Come on, she's only got 66HP - easily the wussiest deity they've got!

You're right. I will also have to do Queen of the Demon Web Pits. I always wondered why she had so few hit points in the Fiend Folio.

This is why I still love playing NWN 1&2 as what other game keeps getting new content every year? Yes I know every game Bethesda makes does, but just indulge me.

Couch I am finishing up Aielund Saga. Do you have a recommendation for a module that takes you from low lvl to higher lvl? Open world with a larger land mass and multiple dungeons.

I would rather it be NWN1, though I have both 1&2.

@Hastar

Tough choice as most NWN mods are not open-world.

This mod comes to mind - https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/module/darkness-over-daggerford-canceled-premium-module

It was updated for the enhanced edition but you have to pay for that version.

These mods are also linear, some have open worlds, some have no map.

Thanks Couch I think I will try Darkness over Daggerford. I did enjoy Aielund Saga. Very good story and I enjoyed the lvl progression in it. Also, I thought the magic items were just about right for the adventure.

Mmm, note that this mod is for NWN2. Hence the forum category.

There is no NWN forum section anymore just this one.:)

He was also replying to Zloth's post above with the NWN mod links.
