Swen introduces Borislav "Bobby" Slavov - Larian's new music director:

Music to your Ears

Last year we lost Kirill Pokrovsky, a brilliant composer and dear friend. While Kirill will be a part of every game we make, the time has come to pass the mantle to another musical genius. Since our ambitions for the music in Divinity:Original Sin 2 are very high, it took a while but today we're happy to report that we found the perfect fit for the job.

Today, we would proudly like to introduce you to Borislav “Bobby” Slavov!

Hi Bobby.

We have to vote again for the other skill tree. I though they were going to pick the two highest. Oh well.

Also, I read that entire update with Sven's voice/personality in my head. It's weird.

Just listening to Knights of Honor soundtrack, glorious work!

I love Kirill's music and now i am glad Larian has another great composer on board :)

I'm not really surprised, because I don't think many established composers / audio directors with RPG experience were on the market. Larian was bound to hire somebody with a proven track record to fill Kirill's shoes.

Way to go, Bobby! The score is one of the most important pieces of any visual media; don't let those heathens who turn down the game sound dissuade you from creating a story within a story. And may the spirits of Kirill and Basil Poledouris flow through you ;)

This was a pretty enjoyable video. Congratulations to Glorian and I wish you all the best! The soundtrack in the background was great and I'm sure that you'll do awesome work.

I didn't realize that Kirill passed away. I listened and continue to listen to his music a lot. My all time favourite would probably be the main theme of Divinity 2, which I've been listening to since the game came out.

Hey. Congrats on the gig, Glorian! IIRC, you're another fan of the wonderful game Two Worlds Two. I seem to remember you posting enthusiastically about the game. Anybody who likes that game has a friend in this nut :)

I think you were also one of the Gothic lovers from the old boards, but my brain is fuzzy that far back. I could never get into Gothic till the 3rd game. I also enjoyed the 3rd Risen game...

I can't listen to the tracks at work, but I'd love to see a variety of your work, if you get a chance to post some links. Do you have a youtube channel?
