Risen 2 - patch #1 released

Moriendor, Temple of Air crashbug is… DLC bug.
Also I'm talking about nonperformance bugs - bad AI and Crow disappearing are such bugs, but crashes, gamesaves, flickering, texturestuck… No, I didn't mean those.
When you exclude graphics/controls/soundcard/etc you're left with 10 bugs.
Shall I number them? Maybe there are 9 or 11 actually, can't be sure now. Other RPGs however tend to have a polished engine but a huge amount of quest/items/skills bugs. Here I can't use Skyrim as a description of such game with polished engine (remember unstoppable itemjumping when a book for example makes an eartearing sound while trying to position itself on a fixed spot on a table which is a performance problem, it's not a broken quest, bad AI, skill/ability failure or erroneous item database).

I'm not saying Risen 2 is a game without any bug. But to describe Risen 2 as just another "german buggy game" when you know for sure there are plenty of nongerman games out there with many bugs is unfair and you know it.

I have to agree with Alrik, that Drakensang was one of the least buggy modern RPG gaming experiences I have ever had (well at least coming off of NWN 2).

Well, yes, I can agree with that. Generally, however, to say that Risen 2 is just another buggy German game is just as hyperbolic as saying it only has ten bugs. Both is very wrong (IMO).

Well, finally got the word from India, errrr Amazon - no US boxed copy.
