What a pleasent experience i got when i fired up POE after bought the season pass during steam sale yesterday - Turnbased Combat.

https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/10…t-in-deadfire/

I was asked to select between rtwp and and turnbased. And the game was fun to play in turnbased (at least in the beginning).

This morning, trying to play again, my newly started champion was missing an DLC, and the game refused to start. Read on the forum there was some problems regarding the patch and a fix would arrive today.

But now i couldn't get the turnbased anymore. It seems it was released in error. What saddness it brought me. I liked what i played yesterday. Don't know how that would have worked getting further into the story but it added alot of charm to the game.

Meh it was probably a test to see if the game worked in turn-based combat. As past interviews claimed more spin-offs might be developed. Also this was just a leak.

Sounds like someone messed up or they just wanted to tease players.

Update: Turn-based combat and a revamped ship combat UI.
