Oh look another game that was delayed and this year barely started.

Well, its systems did look complex and that is its selling point. I hope this reflects quality and not something more insidious.

It's almost like a joke at this point. But given that "Spring" isn't a release date, I had no high hopes for it coming out soon anyway.

It certainly ain't that. There's almost literally nothing of note coming out until at least April. Nobody is terrified of Nioh 2 (watch for the press release on that one soon)
I think that most of them learned the specs for new consoles and need time to optimize the game for them.

There's Final Fantasy 7 Remake, but that's questionable audience overlap. It's probably just a case of biting more than they could chew.

There is something we don't know, ubi delayed all their games, and they have had a release around feb-march for the last years.... I think it must be related to new consoles, they are suposed to be retro compatible and maybe devs want to make sure their games can run in current and next gen without major changes post release....
