A demo for Din's Legacy is available now from Steam or the Soldak website.

McKinney, Texas, August 20, 2019 - Soldak Entertainment today announced the availability of the Din's Legacy demo. Din's Legacy is an action RPG with mutating characters, set in a dynamic, evolving, fantasy world for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

The demo for Din's Legacy is only around 340MB, so there’s no reason not to give it a try. Go download the demo now.

During the Orc Schism, the entire Orc race was violently split into Dark Orcs, Zombielords, and the Mutated. The Mutated are tainted with Orc blood, a zombie parasite, and necromancer magic. This makes people seriously mistrust and even fear them. The fact that they slowly mutate over time makes it even worse. Who is going to trust you when you grow horns overnight?

Despite all of this, the Mutated are actually more closely related to the Elves, both their behavior and physically. They want to prove this to the world, but they are facing a tremendous uphill battle.

The trickster god Din was intrigued by their chaotic mutations and burning desire to prove themselves to the world. Always in need of champions, he made a pact with the Mutated. Each volunteer would become one of his champions trying to save the world wherever Din sends them. In return, each time they die in his service he resurrects them to continue their service.

Din's Legacy, as well as the Mutated's and yours, are all in your hands! Can you be the Champion that is needed?

Din's Legacy is scheduled to be released August 28th 2019. For more information about Din's Legacy head over to the website.

While Soldaks past games haven’t really appealed to me. I deeply appreciate the fact that they consistently put out playable demos of their games for people to try before they buy. That’s not something I see a lot of other company’s doing these days. Kudos!

It seems the industry doesn't agree with me, but I'm a firm believer in demos.

I don't even play Soldak games but I buy one occasionally to support Steven since he bothers to post here and I appreciate that :D

I'm very glad Soldak does demos! It's what got me playing their games. I've been trying this one out to see what new things it brings to the table, since it builds on the earlier games so it's the same visual style, interface, and monster types.

So far I'm quite enjoying the random mutations, because they really mix things up. Also unlocking new classes is fun. There appear to be many more classes to discover than the 8 that were in Zombasite.

Playing to level 6 barely gets you started, it doesn't do the game enough justice, so I am playing several different characters to get a feel for it.
