Update-

I'm doing the actual move Saturday, so I should be available this coming Friday. The following weeks will depend on how long it takes to get internet selected and installed. I will be VAFK (very…) at least until Wednesday night.

I'll be there next Friday, but there is a chance that I'll leave earlier than usual (planned museum visit).

Should be fine to play this Friday and I've got the internet installation at the new place scheduled for Monday, meaning I should be in good shape for the following week as well. The long, dark winter has come to an end.

Black Friday sale includes double points, and Otto's Boxes, among other stuff. Might be a good idea for the non-VIPs to pick some points up if they can.

My headset is completely dead, of unknown causes. Has power, but it's not getting sound or picking up the mic, in Windows, Linux, or Teamspeak. Unfortunately, I don't have a backup.

Since I'm working for tomorrow anyway and have to drop out early, I'm going to bow out for the night and try to catch up on some sleep.

Cable could be broken. I have this with an headphone adaptor/adapter since I once rolled over the cable with my chair … ouch.

On a more serious issue : DDO claims to be updating their "help UI" : https://www.ddo.com/en/news/guide-ge…dragons-online

With multiple cats in Azraelck's house it's not unlikely one of them chewed on the headset cable.

Unfortunately for that theory, it was a wireless headset. Cable was only used to charge it, and it was a generic USB cable.

Wireless … ? Could there be other senders distorting the signal ?

I doubt it, since my setup hasn't changed in months.

It was a janky headset to begin with, so I'm just going to replace it.
