Gothic 3 Domenick + Viewing distance ?

Hi. I am supposed to find Domenick for the rent, but I don't know where he is? Can someone point me in the right direction?

I also don't it that whenever I see a boar, I just have to make two or three more steps and he runs at me. Is there a way to increase viewing distance ? Should I then reduce other details to re-improve performance ?

Domenick's house is located beside the road beetween cap dun and montera.. Its the spot where you had to choose right or left path to montera. Right was obviously faster, but was full of bandits and left one took you past the druid and hostile orc patrol.

The boars have a very high aggro range, actually the highest of all creatures I think. There is no way you can change it, as far as I know.
The only thing you can do is set the difficulty to easy if the boars are too hard for you. Or walk slowlier and more careful so you can spot the boars on time, best if you take a ranged weapon or some magic, so you can locate them even before you see them.
