I'd forgotten that one - tremendous 80s energy there. Great track, too - you just don't get a saxophone solo anymore!

The saxophone was definitely a staple instrument of the sixties, seventies, and eighties. If I remember correctly, I think the Lost Boys film had a song featuring heavy sax tones also. Plenty of artists/bands made great use of that instrument but nowadays it's pretty rare to see it utilized.

That was actually a remake of a tune by The Call done by Tim Cappello. He's the body builder sax player and he's done spots in other songs.

I can't believe that nobody's mentioned Sixteen Candles. The pinnacle of all those classic John Hughes movies? Y'all should be ashamed. :)
