Has The Walking Dead The Final Season been fully released (I mean, all episodes) or just the first episode?

It's incomplete. That's why there are still some people working. Last I heard, Robert Kirkman was funding development of the remainder.

I think this project is quite a long ways off from being completed. Not sure when that happens they'll go the episode route this time.

They always went the episode route and only 2 episodes have been done. I thought than they had laid off 250 employees because there were no more money.
From where would they get the money to do the 2-3 other episodes without having a lawsuit from the former employees who got no severance package?
Is that really that simple? Get some external team, show them the folders where the assets are and we are ready to go?

Recent articles other media say it's done but will remain incomplete & unfinished.

Now comes the fun part as Telltale fired most workers for lack of funding, but is now trying to get alternative funding. That hasn't gone smoothly due to the fired workers.

So these two factors and legal cases make the game incomplete for now.
