NexusMods tablet makeover now live

Yes, it is quite bile inducing now. Why the idiots decided to fix what wasn't broken I'll never know. I don't look for PC mods on my phone. They used to allow you to keep the old engine, but that went away over the weekend. This is truly horrid.

I'm rather annoyed a site I like so much adopted that typical awful design, with awful reasoning to match. "X% of users are using mobile devices" etc, well if you can tell that you can send them to your horrid GUI and leave me alone.

(note "www" replaced with "old")

You get to keep some sanity, you can also automate this with browser addons such as Redirector, something which has proven handy with many awful sites, and now NexusMods is in that list with it's own redirect…

That "old" prefix is only going to be around for the next week or two; it's just a part of the testing phase.

The new site is incredibly dysfunctional in putting forth information in clean, efficient manner. It feels more like one of those obtuse late 90's Flash sites - which I guess is all the rage now? And yes, I won't be visiting the site much either from now on. I've even considered taking down my mods & patches to express my distaste but that would only harm modders.

Well, I guess someone will get irritated enough to make another mods site.
Not for phones.
