The only thing he is writing (in a lot of words) is: Unless Microsoft says something officially quickly, rumors will control the narrative. Why would anyone be triggered by that? Is he normally a loudmouth or what?

He's a reactionary loony that publishes things like the traitors list of companies and game studios. Scroll down to the comments on that page to get a flavour of the sort of people it caters to.

Possibly he also occasionally writes something sane about a game.

Wow, that's a crazy list. And not in a positive way. That sort of language (traitors) can push people to think it is right and necessary to commit violent acts in "self-defense".

I suspected he was a rude person (self-described angry people usually are), but wow...

Thanks, Ripper!

My post was for Joxer and not to be taken seriously.

Let that site be a lesson for all those who claim this forum is full of jaded asshats.:p

Anyway some sites for you softies.:D

To summarize Microsoft talked about the game having some type of online mode. Now if you follow news a Fable MMO was cancelled a few years back. See there we go.

Microsoft had to clarify what they meant hence the links I shared above.

Yeah, those are some real gems as far as people go. I bet at least 95% are convinced Bill Gates wants to inject microchips in them and that George Soros is the head of Antifa. :)

If it's a single player game in the spirit of the first one, I'd be interested. I enjoyed Fable: TLC quite a bit actually.

Yeah I saw your disclaimer in your link. I know you're decent guy couch. Didn't mean to imply you share that guy's views.

Here found a general interview about Microsoft's latest games that has a small reply about Fable. It describes why they chose the Forza Horizon developers.:)

The Guardian
According to Booty, it was the studio’s experience with large open-world environments that singled it out for the project. “I just look at what Playground has done with the Horizon series – that attention to detail, the ability to represent these naturalistic landscapes. They also have a real passion for the IP and a unique point of view on what’s core to Fable. Everything I’ve seen as the game progresses tells me this is going to be a very high-quality release.”

I think my six year old would b a little upset. He got angry at me the other day for hunting a deer in Red dead redemption 2 :D

Most people get softer, the older they get. Personally that makes me happy. We need a world that's as soft as possible, I think. Imagine if some of the crazy dictators/leaders in the world actually got kinder over time… :)

Personally, I agree.

More brutality resulty in a real-life Star Wars setting, and in dictatorship of the stronger ones - who will run into a wall eventually, because they have driven out the more sensitive "warners" into extinction.

In my case, I've seen and read about more than enough brutality in my life.
In both Real Life and in games, I'm totally fed up with it.

Uh ... almost all some sort of - as I call these kinds of games - "kill game" designers.
All of them have never done serious games, only games aimed at a younger age.
("With "serious" I mean things like "mature in thinking, but not in style, as brutality, racing horror and killing per se is not mature but very shallow." Many people seem to mix "mature thinking" with grimdark looks.)

I heavily doubt that these developers would be able to do game like any of the King's Quest series. I jsimply see no story expertise in this list. ( I never played Arkham so far, and still, its setting is very grimdark. )

Eh?
Almost all came from mediocre mainstream titles. Shallow, repetitive and boring games aren't "kill game". IMO.
