I know it isn't a bad thing, like I said I am still enjoying that part of the show. I am just enjoying some of the other ones more.

In the books other people are resurrected as well, but their storylines aren't in the series or are changed to not have a need for resurrection.

Yes, and one wonders what will happen to them in the books, now that they've been ignored by the series.

Some cool theories about Bran's capabilities and Jon's mother. Spoilers warning, of course.

Oh, and here is another fun theory. Small spoiler warning, possible BIG spoiler warning.

For some other rarely seen Sci Fi in this age of online I recommend Other Space which I'm desperate this low budget gem can get a second season, and Dark Matter which can be found on Netflix.

I hope the US can get it at the same time it airs in Canada.

Dark Matter is not rare, SyFy is (was) airing it all over the world.
Other Space - never heard about it. Will get informed.

I totally expect Brienne to try and kill that witch at any given moment. Preferably in a nasty and dismembering manner.

If she does, she should wear the amulet.

No really, I hardly got any sci-fi vibes at all from Colony. It was a poorly executed concept that needed a ton of rewrites to work. That is not to say there could be sci fi story with a similar premise. But these writers went out of their way to show almost nothing of our alien conquers. And in a season that lasted 12 episodes, it was clear to me, that was one of series rules they put in place for season one.

But to your point, you don't need a lot of sci fi trappings to tell a sci fi story. But Colony failed for me because it's basic point of a complete alien take over of the planet was not consistent with the story they put on the TV screen. As far as it being a parable of our times in regards to to much monitoring, I think that is a stretch. In Colonly, our rights for privacy weren't given up or slowly taken away, we were conquered and the world was basically a prison camp.

I thought the latest GoT episode was much better. Really moved the plot along, had powerful moments, and was dark without descending into torture-porn grandstanding.

I'm guessing that being confined to the books was slowing down Thrones a bit, now, without that condition in place, they seem to be doing their own thing, and quite well at that. I was amazed that Sansa got to the Black Keep in under a week myself, all the travel times seem to be a thing of the past now. Now people can enjoy both the tv and book versions for what they are.

Bit of a lame trailer - someone just knocked up a few 3d space effects in Adobe and played a few bars of the Star Trek theme.

Fair enough, but teasers usually tease you with a few scraps. This has nothing at all.

I enjoyed the episode, though they must have realised they haven't been gratuitous for a while, so added some extra breasts and a surprise cock and balls close up.

The end sequence was really good, but I am a bit puzzled.
