He died yesterday (14th of may).

pibbur who got the blues
 
Definitely sad, though not surprising, as his health has been very bad for a while.

Hard to believe it was 31 years ago now that I saw him perform live ...

Sad, at least he died peacefully in his sleep. His music lives on though.

One hell of a legend, I recall at least two summer shows that he showed up for a while back. He could do some extreme licks, and had probably forgotten more about playing a guitar than most players will ever learn.

The King died. Long after the other King.

I wish I had been going to see him when he was on tour ... Well, I can't be everywhere ...

And yes, his music lives on.
