pibbuR who at the moment, like the weather outside, is very calm.

I've heard from some folks in Louisiana that the actual storm wasn't too bad, yet the aftermath seems worse, as often tends to be the case in that area. Also some family in the Northeast have reported flooding in areas like New Jersey and Philly, so the remnants did some damage on the way out for sure.

It hit just a bit south of us on the path to NYC & NJ ... pretty bad. Have friends with significant flooding and damage to property, but fortunately no one I knew was injured.
