Wasteland 2 - Director's Cut Trailer - Squad Creation and Tactics

Ah, that's cool - considering how significant it seems to be :)

It is only this significant because they made it for the consoles to get more sales. Their original plan was just weapons rebalance.

Am I supposed to care why they've made a superior version available to me for free?

True, console versions make everything good in the world wither and die. I forgot that part :)

yeah, how can anybody say anything even mildly negative about console versions?? They will bring prosperity and world peace. They are clearly superior. Thank God for console versions!

Have they added in any new combat capabilities like dual wielding pistons, ballistic shields, or bow weapons? Probably not, I'm guessing.

Looking forward to this DC version.

I played the game earlier and liked it. I don't remember why I stopped playing.

I'll find out how much I like the DC version when D:OS EE comes out (a week later). I'm really looking forward to getting back into that game.

He wasn't suggesting that console versions are superior. I'm pretty sure you missed his point. ;)

I didn't. I just felt like poking him a bit

I didn't get the original WL2, but now I'm quite intrigued. The setting will be a welcome change from standard fantasy fare and I'm already thinking of squad builds. Probably going to play D:OS:EE first, however.

At 4:10 I had enough of this abomination and decided I won't give a dime for this game and avoid it like the plague and give a wide berth to Wasteland 2 in the future. Its the perfect example, how a game must not be made at all.. urgh…

You might wanna try Skyrim or Dragon Age Origins next... Those are good choices for the lower attention span.

So, to have a complete developed game isn't enough a KS campaign, even a very successful and profitable one, but is in need additional motivation, like more profit from additional sales ?
