I was wondering the same thing. Haven't seen the game before but this news post got me interested.

It's a fairly fun squad level RPG type game. You control a group of mercenaries and go through a fairly linear campaign. Different types of troops such as pike men, archers, and knights, to more fantastical units like paladins, elves, dwarves, mages and priestesses. They level up individually, can be equipped with 1 artifact, and carry over each mission.

So is this like fantasy Commander?

I like the look of it, and it does seem to be the kind of tactical game that I really tend to enjoy, I'll need to make a bigger dent in my back log first.

Yeah, back log is humongous here, too. I will pick it up in the next sale, since I would not play it right now anyways. (Will play WH40K: Space Wolves till Battletech comes out ^_^)

One more question: Do the scenarios have turn-limits or boni for being super fast? These games often have that and I usually hate it.

If fantasy commander is the game I'm thinking of , then this game is a bit more small scale in it's missons. Rather than roaming town to town in a big overland map you might be defending a village from orcs with no time limit.
