Hey there!

I already had issues when I wanted to open this page from a different location with chrome as it was actively blocking it due to security protocols not met.

Now I am also getting similar issues at home, saying that this page is actually not supporting https and therefore has to be blocked. So I had to add an exception to be able to display it. I also had to tell my anti virus program kaspersky that it should let the page through.

Would be cool if the forum Wizards can take a look into it.

Good point no website should use a self signed on public internet in general. SSL is much easier now with letsencrypt[1] et all which is free and auto renews. The hosting provider could be an issue but I dont know. I'd recommend disabling https if possible if you dont get a cert.

I haven't used lets encrypt yet because my company still has valid commercial ssl certs and I dont want to use them for internal servers since it exposes internal infrastructure but seems to be quite popular in lots of circles.

For the time being don't use https. I have no other solution right now.
