I thought this probably should have its own thread.

I already mentioned that Pluralsight have made all their courses free for April. Unity has opened up their Unity Learn Premium platform for three months, including a live course that's just started.

Also, Kopano is offering free video conferencing during the crisis. It could be a nice alternative to Zoom, which has some rotten privacy practices.

The Bergen International Music Festival is held (in the memory of Edvard Grieg) the last weeks of Mayn/beginning of June. Obviously not this year. In stead there are 50 events, on line for free.

PS. Some of it is (partially) in Norwegian. Feel free to FF past those parts. DS

Glad you mentioned Zoom's privacy policies. It was pissing me off that the virus has made them so popular while they were advertising themselves as something they're not.

Not specifically virus-related, but there's a very interesting new dev tool that's in open beta, and free for early adopters. It allows you to create human and animal animations much more easily, by letting you define fairly crude movements, and then using AI to adjust the rest of the body's movement, balance, centre-of-gravity, etc. If you don't have the resources for motion capture and professional animators, this could be very interesting.
