I voted for the one i played and liked the best as well as the one I'm most looking forward to in 2018. I fail to see the benefit of mentioning them in this thread since they will show up in the final vote !

Damn, I didn't see Pathfinder or Copper Dreams on the list. My anticipated votes aren't very accurate.

I can't vote this year. Only games I played were Elex (got bored after 13 hours) and nioh (can't seem to get into this one either even after multiple attempts)

I completed 1 game in 2017. The witcher 3.

2017:
1. DOS2
2. Torment ToN

Damn, I do play way to little these days, couldn't even pick a third. I've played more of the games on the list, but liked none well enough to actually vote for it.

2018:
1. BT4
2. Battletech
3. PoE2

This one was HARD. I could probably exchange any of the three above with Pathfinder, Copper Dreams, Phoenix Point, M&B2 and several others. I chose the three above because I'm quite sure they'll be excellent games in my opinion, while I'm hopeful but not quite as confident in the rest.

Anyone who didn't vote West of Loathing doesn't know what a good game is!

That's right, that's all you, and you and you and you!

So many good RPGs this year, it's hard to make a choice and I haven't even played Torment yet.

These 4 are about even for me: Andromeda, Prey, Original Sin 2, Elex.

Although for engaging immerging experiences I'd put Prey and Elex up first.

For gameplay Original Sin 2. Turn-based battles, but that inventory management, ugh, almost kills it.

For writing and characters Original Sin and Prey.

Andromeda wasn't weak anywhere, just not very exciting overall.

So my ranking

Prey -> Elex -> Original Sin 2 -> Andromeda

1. DOS2
2. NieR:Automata (had to write it in!?)
3. Probably would have put Elex or Prey in if I had gotten to one of them but I haven't so: Starpoint Gemini Warlords

Anticipated
1. BattleTech (even if I'm starting to doubt it will even be enough of an RPG to call it a strategy RPG, it still looks incredibly fun)
2. An 8 way tie, I think. I picked Deliverance and Ascendant. I could have put Bards Tale 4, Mount & Blade, Cthulhu, Vampyr, MechWarrior…. jeez, I need to get Prey done soon!

I'm a bit behind on 2017 games as I still haven't played ME:A or D:OS 2

I wasn't in the mood for more Mass Effect when Andromeda was released. I'll probably play it very soon though as I just purchased it.

I intentionally waited with D:OS 2 as I want the most complete experience, and Larian tends to tweak their games for some time after release.

Prey and Elex were both excellent. I had more fun with Elex in terms of time spent with it, but Prey is probably the better game when I try to be as objective as possible.

Can I re-vote then? I voted for 'Other - Pathfinder: Kingmaker' because the option wasn't there before the edit.
Yes, you can change your vote as long as it is still running. By voting again, your previous choices are overwritten.
