Anyway knows any?
I've got XFX 500 right now...probably in year or so, switching to GTX 1070/or similar and perhaps I7. So WIN7 on this computer, WIN10 on later one...don't want to hassle with both systems on same one.
How much W?...thinking of something lasting really long time, no intentions for SLI, cpu overclocking or technogizmo whatnot.
EVGA 650W G2 seems like the most tempting choice, according to my sources.

Are you sure 500W isn't enough?

That's superb PSU if you'll pair two GPUs (different brands aimed for dx12/vulkan, not silly outdated SLI/crossfire! Means GTX 1070 and RX 480 for example).

A bit cheaper but still good would be Corsair CP-9020015-EU 750W.

As Gorath suggested, if you're not planning multiGPU in some future, get something with lesser output like EVGA 100-W1-0600-K2.

I have the 750W model of that one and it is very nice, modular and silent. If I had to build a new rig now, I would either get an EVGA again or one of the Corsairs like this one here. At the end of the day these PSUs are all based on the same Seasonic (I believe?) base model and EVGA and Corsair just put their OEM brand on it (see here).

For non-SLI/Crossfire setup (even if you overclocked 17 6700k) a minimum 450w gold rated psu is enough, as recommeded over johnnyguru forum (specialised in psu).

Some of the good ones:
Corsair RM550x
Corsair sf 450 (for itx build, but usable on ATX casing with adapter bracket)
EVGA 550W G2 (rebrand of Super flower psu)

Why High Wattage Power Supplies Are Stupid

Basically to sum it up, don't worry about getting lots of "watts". Worry more about getting a higher quality PSU for the price. Again this video points you to jonnyguru as Remus mentioned.

Been thinking also of Corsair RM series. Not planning to buy straight away, but over a year time, from bottoms up...case, psu and so on. ( backwards from how I typically do here :p).
So something here that will last 5+ years or so.
Is there a "best" time to pick for buying this? Any super-nano-fibers-fusion-powered models arriving soon?

The 650W G2 is a good superflower (oem) psu. The only real negative is that it is not that efficient. It is gold but it is on the lower spectrum of golds (I lean towards platinum or high end golds) but that is just personal preference. The rest seems pretty good (ripple suprresion; cables; build; ...).
-
As someone else noted you probably don't need a 650W psu (500-550 for a quality psu is probably adequate). If you care about efficiency then the 650w would be running somwhere between 30% and 50% depending on your exact system setup. Usually at lower power consumption the efficiency goes down but this might not matter to you.
-
Note that lower wattage psu might not be cheaper and at lower wattage you need to stick with a quality unit else you will stress the psu.
-
Superflower along with delta and seasonic have good reputations though occasioanlly they all make dogs (evga does not make their own psu and they are not particullarly loyal to a single oem).

Ok EVGA Supernova, seems overall best recommended, coming from that jonny fellow.

But which one: GS, GQ, or G2?
I narrowed it down to these, courtesy of Hungarian web shops:

https://iponcomp.hr/webshop/product/evga_supernova_550_gs_550w/1236917
( 5 year warranty)

https://iponcomp.hr/webshop/product/evga_supernova_gq_650w/1348075
( 5 years warranty)

https://www.uzishop.hr/napajanja/7453-evga-supernova-650-g2.html
(7 year warranty?)

https://iponcomp.hr/webshop/product/evga_supernova_g2_750w/743915
( 10 year warranty)

So something that would a long, long time( longer than some of you guys...ok, bad joke :p).

Uzishop is not hungarian. It's being run by a certain person with nick Serviser you might remember if you ever played Travian. On hr domain ofc.

True, but they're cheap enough to be considered a hungarian ( at least in my book ;) ).
Know some people who ordered there, has a pretty solid, custom-friendly reputation.
Links is best overall, but also most expensive here.

Dunno which is best overall, when it comes to EU, extreme digital has the worst reputation so although everything has lowest prices there, try to avoid that one.

My choice is alzashop (think it's czech) because of nice prices and never sent anything faulty. Many use caseking.de which is also good.

www.mindfactory.de often has the best prices, but they refuse to ship just anywhere. However if you have someone in countries they do ship to who'd pick and send you something, you might still try that store:
• Belgium
• Denmark
• Finland
• France
• UK
• Luxembourg
• Netherlands
• Austria
• Poland
• Sweden
• Slovenia
• Greece
• Ireland
• Italy
• Portugal
