Default Character model evolution in 'Gothic' series

May 20th, 2010, 19:35
One of my friends posted this interesting topic in our forums, which brought back memories from the time I played Gothic. I thought most of you would find it interesting too.

Diego was one of my favorite characters in Gothic series and he will appear in Arcania: Gothic 4 as well.

These pictures show how Diego's character model has evolved since the first Gothic game. I'm not really sure if Spellbound will be able to deliver a solid gameplay, but the character models seem fantastic.

Gothic 2

Gothic 3

Arcania: Gothic 4

He's beginning to look like Sean Connery.

LOL, yes new Diego does look like Sean Connery in 80s.

"Once more, we play our dangerous game, a game of chess against our old adversary - The American Navy."

Never the less, I like the progress. Could someone do the same for some other characters as well? Btw, this thread should be inside Gothic discussion…
