EA publishes an "Indie bundle" ???

Are they mad ???

Sorry, but I just can't understand it.

All I know for now is that EA is publishing a bundle of smaller games published by them and call it "Indie bundle" or so.

Great. They are following Microsoft's rule of Embrace, extend and extinguish by the book.
Apparingly they just don't want to have any competition next to them.

Marketing 101 really. Turn a consept/idea/identity into a brand and start yanking those teats.

Indie really does not mean "independent" in the gaming world, these days, it just seem to be a marketing word for "made by a small(ish) team".

By the way, per the music industry definition of "Indie", Valve is an indie company. It is independent from the big publishers, and it does not have to worry about any stock holders telling them what to do.
