DA:I Dragon Age: Inquisition gameplay trailer

Dragon Age: Inquisition
I'm aware not many are interested into preorders, but well… An additional info can't hurt, right? :)

Especially when it's a thing like this. You may preorder standard edition with -20% off, digital of course, on Gamefly. You'll need to use the code: APR20OFF

Again I suggest being patient to every lurker who wants to preorder, especially if you want the deluxe edition. Why? Because GreenManGaming usually makes such offers on all possible editions and sometimes the price cut is 25% or even more!

Waiting to pre-orders is probably the best right now. Seems like for the first time ever EA released the pre-order information before sending it to the retailers (or making deals with them).

I'm still waiting for it to popup on GreenManGaming or GamersGate personally and to see what that "uber version" is all about.

Guys did anyone check that offer on gamefly?
It says something interesting:
This title requires EA Origin and a permanent internet connection to play.

The wave of disappointment already started on Bio forums and there is no official word on it.

Anyway, I got another arsepoke from that malware (it's not uninstalled because I'm replaying DA:O), so I made sure to write exactly my problem with it:

Not surprised at this news as EA has been going this route for the last couple of years. I hope it will be Like the last two Mass Effect games. They only required a connection in order to play online, and verify your DLC.

I seem to recall you need to be online, and use Origin just to import your saves.

They call it Dragon Age Keep.

Anyway I use Steam to play most of my games online now. Funny thing was a year ago this would of bothered me. At least they allow you to play off-line.

Damn you Steam for converting me.:shakefist:

Does the keep already work for any of you guys (in the US?)?

After login I'm always being forwarded to https://dragonagekeep.com/teaser , where I can apply for the beta.

Great thread - I applied for the beta for fun. I already have scheduled my fall week of vacation to coincide roughly with release. It can't be any worse than DA2 (which while not great was a lot of fun) so not worried about it myself. It looks great so far. Divinity will be out in June so will have that and Skyrim till the fall.

Erm… It asks you to login (age check).

What's wrong with all those publishers?
Put a bloody huge warning it's not for minors and leave me alone. And why I have to put my age to enter a site about some game? Warn me and if it's not for me, I'll say buhbye.
I hate when I have to log in somewhere just because it may disturb some spoiled brats. I don't care for someone else's kids, let their parents deal with them.

It's YouTube who does this, not the publishers.

OT:

Inquisition is looking very good. Bioware are finally listening to the fans again by the looks of everything especially with that earlier alpha gameplay that was shown. If it nails consequences right then it'll certainly have potential to one of Bioware's greatest games.

Will Dragon Age: Inquisition for PC Windows require the Origin client: Yes.

Will Dragon Age: Inquisition for PC Windows require a permanent internet connection: No.

Will Dragon Age: Inquisition for PC Windows require a one-time activation through Origin via the internet (just like Mass Effect 3 PC): Yes.

Why is GameFly saying it requires a permanent connection: No idea.
