They are going to show everyone how it is done wisely.

Such a boon.

But of course, instead of CDR, they'll burn the game on CDRW as it's reusable thus more eco friendly.

Good job citing your source. Am I supposed to just take your word for it and join the dogpile?

Only if done 'correctly' but then it doesn't matter who does it.

Well some things to take in account.

1. It's a ChienAboyeur thread
2. He provided no links to back up his post
3. The articles were proved wrong and based on an error

So nothing to see or read about here folks.

Chien loves pointing out double standards and hypocrisy.
On one hand, hes right. It exists and people will both affirm and deny it in the same sentence.
On the other hand, like DRM and 'privacy contracts', double standards and fake outrage are so blatant and invasive people don't notice anymore.

How about all games have a single huge lootbox you pay for up front that contains all the options, items, skins, unlocks etc? I'd pay for that!!

Well old news really as they already said a multiplayer version of Cyberpunk 2077 would be released after the single-player version. It will not be forced on anyone, and another developer is helping.

Anyway for reference
Cyberpunk 2077 is now in the final stretch, according to its financial results, shared in a video above. It's set to release on April 16, 2020, but the multiplayer won't appear until all of the free DLC has already launched, giving CD Projekt Red more time to figure out its approach.
It's still a single player game first at it's core. So really I can't get mad at a company for making more money off of their hard work. Just as long as there isn't any pay to win. I'm fine with it.

An outrage what for. Far from it.
Nobody wrote about micro transactions. Jumping to conclusions is a key element in the american system. Speculating against things unlikely to happen. They wont happen so trust is renewed.

It was written about monetization and doing it wisely.

One additional point is that CDR Projekt star product, TW, peddles the american notion of absolute evil, the grey areas and stuff giving the whole thing another dimension.
And socalled RPGers are strong people when they associate with their avatar Gerald of Rivia. They rule, they conquer, they prevail. They enforce their whims. They determine the fate of universes.

CDR Projekt, among other things, have been teaching people how to do things.

For example, they have taught people how to show committment to SP gaming.

Bad companies: they show their committment by developping a SP while diverting resources to develop a MU product along the way.

Good companies: they show their committment by developping a SP while diverting resources to develop a MU product along the way.

It is different. Good companies. Bad companies.

CDR Projekt are a boon.

I guess writing extremely vague posts has it's boons. I don't buy your backpedalling, though. There's a reason that the only word with M in your post was monetization, not multiplayer.

Evil is Evil. Lesser, greater, middling… Makes no difference. The degree is arbitary. The definition’s blurred. If I’m to choose between one evil and another… I’d rather not choose at all.
Guys at CDR Projekt must have laughter filled days.

Backpedalling from where.

Micro transactions are monetization. All monetization is not micro transactions. It takes superior minded people to assume otherwise.

It is written above: jumping to the conclusion that this alludes to microtransactions is one way to feel re ensured because that stuff is quite unlikely to be microtransactions. It is going to be monetization done wisely.

Speculating against things that are unlikely to happen is part of the process. The good thing about them, they are unlikely to happen so well, everything works as intended.

People who assume that monetization means micro transactions are responsible for their interpretation. Just like people who interpret monetization as monetization are responsible.

The latter do not need to backpedal. The former, who knows.

Just like products devoid of gameplay, just like committment to SP, CDR Projekt will do monetization the right way. They will show people. While selling stories to storytolders full of absolute evil, gray areas stuff. Tales of empowerment to storytolders, they are strong people, they enforce their rules.

Guys at CDR Projekt must have laughing fits every day.
