Mass Effect 2 - Player1.prf File Request

I recently experienced an entirely unexpected power-outage while completing ME2. I failed to notice anything amiss when I booted the game back up some two hours later, save that my key-bindings had been reset, but swiftly did after resuming the endgame sequence. You see, playing as an Infiltrator, heavily using/abusing my sniper rifle, I had long since picked up the Head Hunter achievement, yet now it was counting my headshots anew!
Long story short, I put it aside as a mere glitch and beat the game, earning some new achievements in the process. Huzzah, I cried! Of course, that was a short-lived "huzzah!" as checking my Achievements list proved it was no glitch: they were wiped clean. Well, it took very little effort to discern that this is not an uncommon problem. Indeed, the BioWare forums (and other ME-centric sites) are chock full of such complaints, as evidenced by these posts...

...to highlight but a few. A solution also seems to be floating around: replace the Player1.prf file in the C:\Users\name\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2\BIOGame\Profile directory. As I am running a copy of Windows 7 I could use the "Restore previous versions" option, but there is no telling what state that would leave me in now, nor am I particularly anxious to replay the end of ME2 in order to reclaim the achievements said process would remove (particularly as I want to start a new game and play Paragon-style with my other ME1 imported character). Thus, I am cutting to the chase and hoping someone can supply me with a Player1.prf file that has the same obtained-achievements that mine did. They are as follows...

NORMANDY ACHIEVEMENTS
Fashionista
Scholar
Prospector
Operative
Agent

TECHNOLOGY ACHIEVEMENTS

Weapon Specialist
Power Full

COMBAT ACHIEVEMENTS

RECRUITMENT ACHIEVEMENTS

Colony Defense
Ghost Ship
Friend or Foe
A House Divided
Suicide Mission

No One Left Behind

IMPORTED-CHARACTER ACHIEVEMENT

...I know, a Player1.prf file is included in the first topic I linked to above, however, I would prefer to earn the remaining achievements on my own. Can anyone help? I know it is a rather far-fetched request, but I am desperately hoping someone can lend a hand. It would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for reading.

I have a profile that has completed every achievement in the game except the knock-back one (think I have 15/20, but I never really tried to get it, they just happened to pop every now and then). I could complete that in about an hour or so I think, making it a complete profile.

If you want one with less achievements (which is what you specified that you want), I can't help you, since I only have one.

I never understood this fascination with achievements. What if there was an achievement to kill one hundred billion cows? I'm sure some people would dedicate the rest of their lives to fulfill this, just because some dude somewhere added an extra line of code that says "kill 100 billion cows for the 'cow killer' achievement"

Generally, I don't care either. I completed the ones in ME2 more or less automatically, by playing through the game several times (which I would've done anyway).

In games like WoW, where there are thousands of achievements, I couldn't care less, unless it somehow enhances my character (improves my damage output etc).

I know quite a few players who are motivated by the sense of accomplisment, and are completists in every way. To each his own, I say. If they consider that fun, good for them, keep it up. We play games to have fun, after all.

In this case, and where I am concerned, it is nothing of the sort, mate, though I appreciate the effort you put into scripting such a thinly-veiled derogatory remark which, having no other bearing on this thread, is rendered completely useless. Thank you.
To explain, quote: "I want to start a new game and play Paragon-style with my other ME1 imported character." If you played ME2, you would be aware that having acquired certain Achievements grants you bonuses both in the game they are obtained and when starting a new game. As I plan to try the game as a Paragon on Insanity difficult, I would like to begin with all the bonuses I have justifiably achieved. Note the second "I" in that sentence, which is precisely why I have requested a prf file that has only the same achievements as my own (or nearly so), such that no further bonuses would be unlocked which might unduly influence my game. I would feel somewhat cheated, if not quite as though I were cheating, by such.

@Maylander
Thanks for the offer, I appreciate the gesture. If nothing else pans out, I would very much like to take you up on that.

I don't think wolfing meant anyone in particular — it was more like a comment on general achievement mania — which can possibly be both a dream and nightmare for completists.

In ME1 that used to be true, but in ME2 the bonuses were reduced a lot, according to the mass effect wiki's list of achievements

There is exactly one achievement that gives a substantial bonus in ME2 ("Long Service Medal"): Play through the game twice OR play through the game once with an imported character. Every new character after that get 25% more experience.

You also get a to choose a bonus talent from NPCs for completing their loyalty missions. All the other achievements are just for show, apparently.

If that is so, I would offer a sincere apology for my own rather snide remark. Nonetheless, I trust you can see that posting such a thing in a thread concerned with acquiring achievements leaves the reader (and, in particular, the thread starter, myself) with the single obvious inference that the comment is directed at them as: why else would they post such a thing, amirite?.
…then again, I could just be very touchy right now. Bad day, hormones, really nasty pancakes for breakfast. Take your pick.

Really? I was unaware of that (painfully so, it seems). My list does include the loyalty missions, though, thus it is not a complete wash to request a new prf file. I had read, however, that certain other achievements (primarily the combat ones) affected new/continued games. My bad, mates.

lol guess you are definitely touchy today (or yesterday). My comment was because I've seen this trend about achievements for the last, what, 5 years or so? But more and more I see people obsessing about them and I was wondering why. Now that you say they have actual gameplay effects for subsequent playthroughs, I understand better... I still wouldn't go too far out of the way for them, personally, but I can see where it could be something to look for.

I guess when I disagree is when game developers add these achievements as an artificial way of lengthening the game. Like, in Champions Online, you could get to max level in like 2 or 3 weeks, and all you could do after that, their idea of 'end game content' was killing 5000 of certain mobs so you could get some stupid costume pieces.

On the XBox you get "gamer points" even for show-off achievements, though I have no idea what they are used for. I never got the craze either, but I can see the benefit for people who like to wear them as "badges of honor" or so. But if they actually hinder gameplay and don't give any gameplay bonus ... uh, no thanks.

King's Bounty: Armored Princess has achievements (although they are called differently, IIRC) that all give in-game benefits once you get them. These I find pretty nice.
