GOG.com has fired a significant number of employees

but i am a little more concerned that GOG could have the plug pulled if it's not bringing in the coin.

They need to get more big titles released on it. Just look at what happened with Bloodlines 2 announcement: the most expensive version reached the top selling list despite the game being 1 year away during the Spring sales (it also caused Bloodines 1 sales to increase).

Then the old Warcraft games were released on it and that topped the best selling list.

Some time ago, on this site, the point was made that GOG was healthy because they were floating recruitment ads.

No fear, no shame. The past does not exist.

At some point you will notice that "this site" is not a singular entity.
