I agree about marketing in important but is live action trailer the best way to market a game? I didn't even bother to watch the video posted

I wouldn't go that far - I'd say the content and its reception are still critical. There have been plenty of flops with mega marketing campaigns, and some major sucesses without them.

The trailer is terrible, but I fully expect the game to be great. The first one certainly was.

Nah.. if they're going to bring something back, it should be Arx Fatalis.
If Otherside Entertainment has some relative success with Underworld Ascendant, I'm betting this offers the best potential platform for Bethesda to order Arkane back to work underground as well. But I'll believe it when it happens.
