Name that game!

One of Bungie's finest.

That was a great game, even if it ended up being slightly underdeveloped (which is too bad). The combat was awesome. I certainly wouldn't mind a sequel!

Heh, this is the first game I recognised in this thread. Oh man...

Yup, underdeveloped was the word. The biggest mistake they made IMO was hiring an architecture bureau to do the levels, instead of level designers -- they often ended up about as exciting as the Consolidated Accountants cubicle hell. Empty, too.

Everything else was pretty damn good, though.

Not an RPG. But it *is* netbook friendly I just discovered!

Back in high school, I spent more time play this than anything else.

Isn't that Mines of Moria (Stanza's pic)? My buddy and I did more than a few all-nighters on his Apple ][ Plus with that game.

Nope, Dark Forces was pseudo-3D with sprites, like DOOM. This one's full 3D with models; looks like it's based on one of the Unreal engines. The UI is the same, though, and he's clearly toting an Imperial blaster rifle, so I'm guessing Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight (although I never played it).
