@TechQuila The system requirements for Assassin's Creed: Odyssey have been released.

Without further ado, here they are:

I think it just gives those as references for the performance the example specs should deliver. 1080p at 30fps on a Geforce 970 doesn't shock me too much. I don't think they're suggesting we're locked to that. The PC Master Race would go bananas!

I hope so, if a game runs below 30fps I get nausea.

30 FPS on 3.5+ Ghz CPU with 4+ cores and GTX 970?

Ubisoft strikes with unoptimized code once again.
I'll buy the game as I loved AC Origins, but definetly not preorder. It'll happen eventually when I get future hardware able to make this abominable code to run 60+ FPS.
By that time, the price will be 5 bucks I guess. Money loss for Ubisoft.

Assuming of course the targetted FPS isn't a typo.

With Ubi, always take recommended as minimal and current NASA supercomputer as recommended.

Anyways, definitely getting this. Tough, yet beautiful Spartan chick asskicking left'n'right in ancient Greece setting? Day one. :)
