Yeah, I'm not a fan of some of the creepy sexual overtones/fetishes that I've run into with a few games/books. I think that ninety-nine percent of the time you could make your point without being so graphic.
But Myrthos already has a database of all of us. Wouldn't be better to... oh, wait, I see what you mean.No wonder the UK government wants to tax porn and create a database of watchers.
Good someone caught that reference but that link is real. The UK wants to sell pass cards to verify you are 21+ to view certain websites. Basically a central database. But Myrthos already has a database of all of us. Wouldn't be better to… oh, wait, I see what you mean.
Agreed but you'll be very surprised with the amount of fetishes that gamers have.Yeah, I'm not a fan of some of the creepy sexual overtones/fetishes that I've run into with a few games/books. I think that ninety-nine percent of the time you could make your point without being so graphic.

Yep did some research a few years back.Everyone, not just gamers.
There's a flip side to this though. Anyone funding this project is likely single anyway, and probably doesn't have children and/or won't have children in the future. As such, this makes them evolutionary failures. This should please you, Ripper.
No, I wouldn't look at people who become sick and dysfunctional as belonging in some Darwinistic dustbin. The making of a person is a complicated thing, and who knows what wretched states any of us could have reached with certain life circumstances.
Also, I don't know if this silly game is so bad in itself. It might be quite harmless.
I was talking more about some of that concerning stuff on the forum mentioned earlier.
I must be a prude as well Doesn't matter if its a game, video, or writing when it comes to something like this - if someone gets off on that kind of thing it … well it says they like it. The fact that its a game/story/video versus the real thing doesn't change the fact that they find it sexually arousing and what they get themselves off to … it just means they can't get busted for it and, hopefully, no one else gets damaged by their freakish fetishes. Still seriously creepy.
There are two key points:One one hand, I think it's unfortunate that games like this get funded (and funded well), mostly because I don't see the point.
Heck I remember the 1980's when PG-13 movies were borderline R-Rated, and R-Rated movies were basically soft porn. Don't get me started on the NC-17 Rated movies.
Seems for all the talk about being more liberated nowadays seems we've become more conservative on other topics. Another catch 22 of puzzlement as the saying goes.
Also I still remember the media craze over Mass Effect and it's tame sex scenes.
