Recommend me some RPGs please

To an extent I suppose. Should we be recommending the difficulty setting as an aside to each recommendation as well then?

The Gothic series is one I've played and enjoyed. Gothic 2 was good, but my actually fave is Risen 2. That's a 9/10 for me despite it's flaws.

Regards spec don't let that restrict your recommendations mate. Even if I can't play it now I'll look to over the next few years when I upgrade the PC.

Regards types of game I'm really don't have much preference, if it's done well it's done well.

My fave RPGs include DA:O, Mass Effect 1, FFX, Divinity TDKS, The Witcher 2, Lost Odyssey, Risen 2, Fallout 3, Morrowind, Shining Force, Phantasy Star 4, Summoner 2, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, Chrono Trigger, FF5 etc. - so as you can see I like all sorts. I think the only thing which I'm not keen on is micro management.

Well, that's so much that it isn't helpful anymore

I wouldn't say that, it's mostly sequels of one's he's already mentioned, like other responses, and this list was composed from an in-the-ball-park of the titles he mentioned.

It's all helpful chaps, there's plenty I've not heard of and it saves me playing through poorer rpgs to find better ones.
