A friend just recommended the indie game Hylics to me. Quirky as hell -- perhaps to a fault? Stoner-surrealistic claymation-based graphics over what may (?) be a conventional JRPG skeleton. Has anyone tried it?

I played it a bit. I like weird stuff but this one is way too much noise and not enough gameplay.
