The strategy game Space Hulk: Tactics is now available:

Space Hulk: Tactics

Space Hulk: Tactics is a faithful adaptation of the board game Space Hulk, set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, bringing a unique twist to the cult classic formula. Engage in bloody battles through an immense Space Hulk - a twisted mass of asteroids, wrecked star ships, and debris – as either a squad of Terminator Space Marines or the deadly alien Genestealers. Which side will you choose?

Battle through two distinct, narrative-driven campaigns: lead a Blood Angels squad, which you will customise and upgrade as you progress, or take control of the Genestealers for the first time in a Space Hulk game!

Space Hulk: Tactics
is based on the rules of the popular board game, given a fresh new spin in the form of the unique Card system. Cards provide more ways to customize your squad and allow you to turn the tide of battle with powerful abilities that trigger game-changing effects when used at the right moment.

Test your skills against other players in the expansive online competitive multiplayer. Command a swarm of Genestealers or a custom squad of different unit types from one of four Space Marine Chapters available – the Blood Angels, the Space Wolves, the Ultramarines, and the Dark Angels. The game includes a built-in intuitive map creation tool, to design your own original maps with custom objectives, and share them with other players!

Yaaay! Now this game needs positive reviews, then we can see exhilarated devs doing the PATCHWORK. Expect to play this game somewhere in Jan-Feb, well patched.

It is streamed.
Tons of filler missions, no strategical interest, no tension captured, AI is extremelly poor (like running twice into the same overwatch area within the same move to gain nothing out of it)

It is amazing how current developers, with all this computing power, advancement in software development and tools, can't get the real mechanics and feel of the original computer game developed more than 20 years ago!

Computers are too powerful these days. Developers have forgotten how to think.

Considering that a lot of the current developers that are making games grew up playing such masterpieces such as Wizardry, the Avatar series, Bard's Tale, Might and Magic and many others, I find it quite curious that many games are extremely simple and often quite sloppy when initially released. I've said more than once that it almost seems like the best games, the true masterpieces are far behind us, and seldom does a new one come along these days.

All is spent on content. Tons of content: heavy modelization work (you can move though the ship in first person, tons of detail), tons of missions (probably randomly generated), ways to skip the manual resolution of a mission but for players who go through manual resolution, heaps of generic missions, in the hundred or more.

Lots of content.

Nothing faithful in that vid product.

This one is a classical RPG power trip with the player's powermongerism being satisfied.

Now the PvP might be any good, or not.
