SEGA survey asks fans if they want remasters of Yakuza Ishin and Yakuza Kenzan

Here are the questions from the survey:
- How interested are you in purchasing remasters/remakes of existing Yakuza games?
- How interested are you in purchasing new games set in the world of Yakuza?
- How interested are you in purchasing games created by the Yakuza team in other worlds, like the upcoming Fist of the North Star game?
- How interested are you in purchasing the various spin-off titles that have never received western release?

Okay, who here played those on dunno, Nintendo Gameboy?
Are they at least half as good as Yakuza 0?

I don't think these games even got an overseas release, so that might be nice. A friend of mine played Kenzan and enjoyed it a lot, don't think they got around Ishin though.

It's the first game that was released on the PS2 years ago it was just called Yakuza.

Followed by Yakuza 2 on the PS2.

The remasters just changed the name and upgraded the graphics.

Here this link has all the games and spinoffs to check out.

In this case I'll abandon my anti-weeboo principles and vote Yes.
We need more pure fun games like Yakuza.

Don't just sit, invest some dollars in Yakuza 0. I can't think of anyone who would dislike that game. Some things like pisspoor controls in couple of minigames you will hate, but apparently there is a cheat for that so there. Take it as bugfixing through specific type of mod.
The rest of the game, I promise, is awsome.

I do like how the game seems to have a lot of focus on melee combat, but the chatter about multiplayer and online stuff keeps me from buying it, at least for now. I may take the plunge when my back log gets diminished.

What multiplayer. There is Yakuza 0 multiplayer?! Man, if there is, I haven't seen it. Wherever it's hidden, the game won't push it under your nose all the time like microtransactions based scams.

All what microtransaction games? I think the last time I saw scummy things like that in a game was in Everquest two, and I quit that over a year ago. Haven't seen it in any game I've played since.

Well you guys are lucky then @Carnifex;. As Sega is king of DLC milking in their published strategy games. Just look at the Total War, and Company of Heroes franchises.

Two franchises that I've never played. Maybe these milking gimmicks work better in action type games, I don't seem to encounter them in the mostly turn based games that I tend to favour.
