Default Ni no Kuni II

July 9th, 2018, 00:15
So I've been playing Ni no Kuni II: Revenand Kingdom. I've got mixed feelings about the game. I mean the combat is sweet, the art style and the soundtrack are also pretty amazing, but the quest design is a mess. All the side quests are the freaking same. The story and characters are so so bland. It's more fun roaming around the world hunting the high level monsters than doing the main questline. The protagonist is as naive as my fish, and most of the other characters don't see any significant development either. It's a shame really. A strong plot and some interesting characters, and it could have been one of my favorite JRPGs. You may read my review here.
