I didn't go there. I just couldn't get myself into doing that. I feel more and more misplaced there.

"Concrete Genie" ? Funny title ...

Alrik when we'll hear your thoughts about the new upcoming TDE game (that isn't singleplayer)? It's called Book of Heroes:
https://www.rpgwatch.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43488

Blacksad: Under the Skin for all I know is still not released as I'm eagerly waiting to buy it (I have all 5 graphic novels) thus I guess these rewards are about games shown on Gamescom.
If that's correct, it's kinda odd among nominees (any genre) is not Humankind, SEGA's upcoming AAA title that'll be shown on Gamescom. Or that game will be revealed with just a few screenshots in which case it won't be odd. ;)

@Myrthos; wow, hard to reach some of those companies, one would think it'd be in their interest to give you some easy way of contacting those companies considering the site you run. I don't doubt that we do generate a lot of sales for them from here.

I don’t know why it happens. It might be that for some reason RPGWatch is blocked by their server or sent to their spam folder. I did put in the effort to get everything email related in place, like SPF, DMARC and DKIM, so it should validate our regular mails.
I know Google still lists everything we sent as spam.

Anyway, I have 14 appointments. Creating a single article from a half our appointment takes about 3-4 hours. That includes listening to the often noisy recordings, typing what they said and making some sense of it all so that it becomes readable. I’ve tried speech to text applications, but nothing works, because of the amount of background noise and disturbances.
I think the 14 is enough to keep me occupied for a week or so :)

On a side note, I’ll be writing a bit on my endeavors at Gamescom using my twitter account @TheRealMyrthos, which I started recently to not have to abuse the RPGWatch account, for random stuff :)

I can confirm, we almost missed Myrthos' mail (Tactical Adventures, Solasta) since it was swimming around with hundreds of spam mails from GamesCom (translators, advertisements, set-up companies...).

On the bright note it wasn't caught by the spam filter^^ It's just that once your presence at GamesCom is made public, you get targeted like crazy :/

Saw the demo of Solasta, for a part at least. The session of half an hour was too short for the questions that I had prepared, received from Purple and that popped up during the hands-off demo, so will have to ask them another time :)
Anyway, it was looking good from what was shown to me and what I was told.

Aww :( Yeah, 30mins sounds a bit too short - oh well, still looking forward to read your impression on the demo :)

There are more than a few, I would think.

Anyway, had a lengthy presentation and talk with the Gamedec devs. A game with violence but no combat system. It does look like it has a lot going for it, if you are into story and character development. As I usually suck at combat, this might be more my thing :)
