I'm only posting that because that's what they are already doing (posts above) and because we see a decrease in activity, but I agree it may be early to reach conclusions on that last point.

I'd still look into the Larian forum once in a while.
It's currently bursting of BG3 activity, but it has alsways had an own "RPG Chat" subforum It's been nearly dead for almost 10 years, though, as no-one was talking there anymore. That changed a bit within the last years, though. But not much. People talk rather about BG3 there than about general RPG things in general.
