I am pleased to announce that we are working on adding the ability for Alliance and Horde players to form premade parties together for dungeons, raids, and rated PvP.

The end of an era. Rumour is WoW subs are ~1 million?

Doubtful. The most recent numbers I saw were still 4+ millions. It's still printing money, just less than before.

Also, the faction thing is something the player base has been asking for. The main argument is that the factions cooperate in all major story content, but can't do it in-game. The whole animosity aspect just doesn't make much sense anymore.

Whether that direction is good or not is up for debate. A 17-18 year old MMO is bound to become somewhat stale at some point, so most discussions regarding its content will be affected by that. They'd need a pretty serious revamp to avoid that in future expansions. The last one that felt somewhat fresh was Legion, which is now 5-6 years ago.

SWTOR has this already for PvP in some maps.
