Game Watcher reports that Call of Cthulhu has been delayed until 2018:

Call of Cthulhu game from Focus and Cyanide delayed until 2018

Call of Cthulhu, the eagerly awaited RPG from Focus Interactive and developer Cyanide, has been delayed until 2018. The studio announced this on Twitter. While admittedly no firm release date had been given, the general suggestion was that it was coming December 2017, and original Q4 2017.

Imho you should never buy a Cyanide game pre-launch, exactly for that reason. No matter how much time they got before.

First Vampyr and now CoC as well. To be honest though, I probably wouldn't have had the time to play them anyways.

I assume (and hope) they need more time to polish those RPG perks, to give them more weight and use in game.

Anyway… the Great Old Ones are not hasty ones.
