The Totally NEW Team Corwin Thread

Peter, we finished Borovia2. A few of us do not have level 14 yet, so we'll add in a few more 11's before taking level and moving into lvl12 quests. Corwin is short-timing next week so we might get everyone level and then call it for the night. We'll see.

Thank you once again for being so patient with me.
And, I was REALLY tired at the end of Barovia 2.

We ran late last night; though we did get a lot done, including Restless Isles. And now we all remember why we never run it. Hopefully one of us has ran the raid, otherwise we're going in blind.

Sorry for me not feeling well last night (at least night for me).
I looked into the Social Window and saw that every name of Friday took level 14. I did so as well, then.

Hey Az- discovered a problem with that Adherent's Pendant you passed me yesterday. Paladin only. :(

I have actually played a sorcerer or an inquisitor multiclass the most times the last 5 years or so.

This life I'm playing a paladin and he's performing very well. It's definitely a viable option if you have a good build. We know we need melees for some quests so a paladin is probably the best melee class you can play these days.

I'm using a max charisma build where I can add charisma to hit and damage tapping into the Feydark illusionist (6 points I think is enough for both) and a feat for Magical Training at level 1. With max charisma I get great lay on hands and insane saves. The dps is not negatively affected by not building up strength. Gear wise it's easier since you only need to get room for charisma and constitution items.

Paladin is nice, yes. I've been playing one for soloing for some time. Sits now at level 18, and is a weird experimental build for soloing with 1 or more levels of Rogue for traps. Uses light armor therefore, and was difficult to equip because only light things (inclusive light shields) can be used for evasion. I'll TR this character one day.

Well, that kinda sucked. Sorry, team. With a little experience and a little more planning ahead, I think we could beat it, but it was just too much misery to endure a second attempt.

We can smash Borovia3 next week as revenge on the game.

Yes, that was unfortunate, but we come over it and leave it behind us, as we say here ("darüber hinweg kommen").
Sometimes, you need to make a bad experience to progress even further.

The desert was pretty fun ! And in the end I even got a good item ! https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Tourney_Armor

Besides :
https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Blood_of_Dragons
It's very rare, I think. I have seen it only once in all these years.

Edit : Found something : https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/96520-Twilight-Forge-Green-Room-Puzzle

Edit : If you want named loot from the Desert area, then keep your Antique Bronze Tokens which are dropping there ! Because that Antique Bronze Token trader within one of the houses of Zawabi's Refuge sells them ! https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Antique_Bronze_Token
The Wiki needs to be updated. Price for Ring Of Spell Storing : 625 Antique Bronze Tokens.

Actually, I messed up last night by misreading my sheet. We should have run Wiz King. Where my sheet showed open Desert quests for us, it was the pre-raid and raid, not the flaggers. Some of us are fully flagged for Demon Queen while others are not. We should have evened that out last night. I just hashed up that whole evening from start to finish. * sigh *
