Oh, Of course they are, but in between those story bits is an ass tonne of combat. At least in the first 2 games, I assume the 3rd follows suit.

Life is strange is story driven, until dawn is story driven, the Witcher has a great story but combat is still the vehicle that takes you from story bit to story bit.
