Free Picard

I liked the finale too but it just reinforced my opinion that the show depends completely on Patrick Stewart and Brent Spiner. The middle half of the episode was not good at all IMHO.

If you stomached more than 2-3 episodes, you're of far sterner stuff than I am. I kind of forgive them for STD, at least they weren't messing with canon but what they did with Picard was just deplorable. I blame Jar jar Abrahms mostly for the Star Trek atrocities over the past dozen years or so.

I haven't watched Picard yet, but I also detest the new films by Abrahms, who really went out of his way to crap all over whatever tradition there was behind Star Trek.

Abrahms likes to stamp stuff his way and doesn't give a damn for anything that happened prior. I call him Jar Jar, and he is one of the worst to be involved in the industry, slightly behind Kurtzbomb, who literally destroys anything it touches and hasn't a clue how to write, period full stop.
