[Update] Steam.tv has been taken offline and, in a statement to CNET, a Valve representative said it was meant to be an internal test and was made publicly accessible by accident. This means more streamer friendly integrated features.
Devs will be happy as this will lower the dev costs. And people on this board are going to be happy as products that cater for streamers are highly appreaciated.

This steam stuff has been gravedigging gaming: it led to an overconsumption of vid products that cheapened the value of gaming, people are not limited by physical space, they keep buying without ever bothering to play.

One example among many.

And now, Steam will force more streamer oriented features.

The future is RPG.
