Hearts of Iron 4

Hearts of Iron IV is due out June 6th. http://www.heartsofirongame.com/

This time it's more accessible! With HoI, though, that isn't saying much. HoI 3 may well be the most complex computer game you can buy.

Unfortunately, the only previews I've been able to find are from last year. Hopefully some preview copies will start to go out soon.

I've been out of the loop for too long.

The different incarnations of HOI2 was played obsessively, both single player and grandiose multiplayer by me.
But I could never manage to get into HOI 3 and haven't touched them or any other clausewitz game in years.

I really hope it will find the balance between sandbox and accessibility.
(though how to solve that equation is beyond my grasp)

I loved playing Italy and trying (and usually failing in an epic way) to recreate Mare Nostrum.

(i think Im one of the few HOI players to never ever having played germany...)

I will follow this.
