"Production has begun on a new Netflix television series based on Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher Saga. It has nothing to do with video game maker CD Projekt Red."

What exactly is new? This is old news.
Platige's Tomek Baginski, who directed all three Witcher video game intro cinematics, will be involved as one of the directors.

Eh, maybe Sapkowski will get lucky and score some royalties this time.

But seriously the old Polshow will be hard to beat. Had quite a few chuckles as I remember

Oh no, I smell a Game of Thrones clone coming along.

I'm guessing they called my fellow Dane Mads for this role

While possible it doesn't have to be so since Sapkowski's style is very different from Martin's

Suprised no one made Hexxxer, based on first game so far.
They'd even have to throw out half the scenes, Geralt sure gets around.

Speaking of butts and boobs, whose butts and boobs you would like to see?

I am sure the ladies here can chime in on the man butt and boobs they like to see but I will make go at the women!

Yennefer - Kate Beckinsale, Morena Baccarin or Eve Green
Triss - Vittoria Puccini
Ciri - Emma watson!

Og what the feck,

Geralt - Mads Mikkelsen or Viggo Mortensen

I don't need to see her boobs&butt or anything but I think Jennifer Connelly would be perfect for Yennefer.

I'd go with Mads for Geralt.

Sean Bean should play Vesemir since he dies

yeah, Mads would make a perfect Geralt. I would also LOVE to see Emma as Ciri. Still thinking about Jennifer but I would definitively like a natural redhead in Triss' role.

I'm pretty excited about the Netflix production. They can fuck it up, but they could also make something great about an already successful story. E.g., with Fargo, the series after the movies were amongst the best stuff ever produced.
Of course hoping for GoT level quality. I guess they'll need some more cgi than GoT, which (I always read) is the expensive part.

Can't wait for this. I even watched the polish show haha..

Fargo is indeed great, one of my favorite TV shows of all time. This season has been fantastic so far.
