I assume so, but recently there have been many variations of the Souls formula. For example I was very impressed by Mortal Shell as an indie development, where it did not have the Souls or Sekiro difficulty but it was very atmospheric, had innovative fighting mechanics and very fun to play.
So I am keeping my eyes open on Bleak Faith as an indie development (developed by two people only!).
