Greedfall - Two Previews

Thanks for the links!

I find it strange though that none of the previews compares Greedfall to Technomancer. I really would have liked to know what they've kept and changed in regards to gameplay.

It's an interesting and unusual setting that gives them plenty of scope to do an unusual story and narrative, and they seem to be expanding character customisation somewhat from previous Spiders games (eg, you can play male or female this time). Hopefully it will turn out well.

Seems more of the same, though not a bad thing though. Not many civ vs nature rpgs out ther( Jade Empire?), save the land from greedy capitalists, marry the chieftain's daughter. They need to fix stunlock/group combat issues and work on companion AI though.

There's nothing wrong with the technology or game systems in their earlier games, but the pacing just kills them sometimes. The overall experience is less than the sum of the parts.
