trying to remember a tv show from the 60s-70s

I don't remember much, but from what I remember:
- Show was sort of sci-fi
- One of the actors looked like Lost in Space's Doctor Smith (it's a somewhat famous secondary actor, I think I've seen him in other places)
- The show had a group of people, at least 4.
- Probably a 60s show, maaaybe early-mid 70s.

Sorry, that's about as much as I remember. What show could it be?

EDIT: Never mind, once I closed my eyes to sleep the name of the guy came to my mind... Roddy McDowall, checked IMDB and the name of the series was "The Fantastic Journey".

I've never seen this. It must not have made it into the syndication rounds of the 80s.

it was more like a mini-series, only ran 1 year according to IMDB.
